I am a rare and endangered species known as a Colorado Native. We are rarely found in the wilds of Colorado anymore however we do exist... =)
I am also a C-Level finance and operations executive with over 20 years’ experience. As a consultant and coach, I have focused on helping business owners and executives grow their business and maximize profits. I like to work in organizations with revenue between $250k and $65M and have specialize in industries such as restaurants, multi-unit retail, warehousing and fulfillment, SaaS, non-profits, and manufacturing. I have recently completed my first book "Accelerate Your Business in 45 Minutes" and would love to share a free E-Copy with you.
My most recent corporate role was as the COO and CFO for a durable goods manufacturing company where I helped grow top-line revenue by 23% and increased profitability by 40% over three years. The success was a result of my ability to build a high performing team, foster an employee first culture, improve processes and procedures, and maximize the bottom-line results. The culmination of my three years leading the organization was a successful exit for the owner where the company was sold for maximum value.
I tend to thrive as a chaos specialist with experience turning around a multi-location retail business from $500K loss to $1.2M net profit in less than 24 months. I also have significant experience and proficiency in dissecting financial statements and processes, rebuilding financial systems, processes and procedure creation and documentation, and providing actionable information for leadership teams to make decisions. For my company turn around process I use workflow design, identifying and improving operating efficiencies, profit improvement strategies, Lean business concepts, and value stream mapping techniques.
In addition to my corporate careers I have also owned several small businesses and am a serial entrepreneur. My professional passion in life is to leverage my business experience and financial knowledge to help small and mid-sized companies build a foundation with financial systems, grow their top line, and operate more efficiently in order to maximize profits.
